Here you will find some greenhouse and gardening accessories that are essential to successful greenhouse growing,
and below this menu are some tips to help you with sizing of some of these accessories.
You can expand and adapt your greenhouse as needs change. Working with Solexx™ is so easy that adding base vents and/or exhaust fans can happen at any time. We make some basic recommendations for you to consider with any greenhouse purchase. Units 8' or less can get by without adding power exhaust fans or intakes depending upon year-round use and climate.
Some items we highly recommend are the 'automatic louver opener' and base vents. Each greenhouse comes with a louver for venting, but the louver opener is adjustable and will insure that your greenhouse is vented when you can't be there to open the louver by hand. Base vents really help for cross ventilation. We recommend on for every 8' on each side of the greenhouse.
We include the "Tie-down Kits" in our greenhouse packages as it is absolutely essential that the building be secured. If you have another method to anchor your greenhouse we are happy to leave them out and deduct the kit from the price.
Each greenhouse includes built-in bench frames. We offer wire racks with a UV inhibitor included and custom made to fit the bench frames properly. These are optional, and some may have local sources or may not want shelves at all.
